Caution Tape & Orange Cones

If you've ever accidentally bumped your child's
head or knocked them to the ground because you weren't paying close enough attention, raise your hand. Well, I'm unfortunately raising my hand. Yesterday was grocery shopping day, which means multiple stores in not a lot of time. Baby #2 needed to be held while baby #1 sat in the shopping cart tearing through a messy free cookie from the bakery. I tried to clean his face while still holding baby #2 and bumped her head. Oh the screams that came from her tiny little body! Then after everyone was calmed down, fed, rested and home, we decided to go on a walk with Daddy. Baby #1 was on the porch helping me get the stroller ready. I lifted up the front of the stroller not realizing he was standing right behind it and knock him to the ground. He really wasn't happy at all!!! So we finished the day with a scratch under baby #1's left eye and a red mark above baby #2's right eye. Needless to say, I need to have some caution tape and orange cones around me at all times. It's getting ridiculous. Poor babies!!!

Max & Maggie Sharing a Room

Tonight is the second night for Max to sleep in his and Maggie's room. I'm excited to have our room back for ourselves, but I miss him. I've been able to wake up to Max next to me in his crib since he was born. That's a big thing to give up. He's only about 15 ft from me if that, but it's still too far. Oh sweet Maxie-Boy, I love you so!!!

Now onto the big adventures with your sweet little sister that you need to annoy, pick on and protect.

You're both growing too fast!!!

Magdalena's Blessing

Sweet Magdalena was blessed this last Thursday. We held off a bit so we could have more family attend. I told everyone to be at my brother and sisters house at 7pm sharp and guess who was late... Yep, me! But as soon as all the priesthood stood around our little sweetie, my hurried mood changed. It was awesome! I'm so thankful for the blessing of having the priesthood in my family's life.

Uncle Russ, Uncle Adam, Cousin Andy, Cousin Sam, Cousin Zack, Grandpa Hatch, Daddy, Magdalena, Uncle Hod, Uncle Cline, Uncle Troy and Cousin Brian. Now that's quite a group!

I love this picture of Grandpa and Uncle Cline with Maggie.

Wes has a star above his head and I have Maggie's binky holder on my shirt. All not planned as far as I know, but very memorable. LOL!

Beautiful Grandma with Maggie.

Very happy family! Max wearing his awesome jacket with the elbow patches.

and for the cherry on top... Margie feeding Baby Bobbi a cookie. What a love!!!

I really appreciate my sweet sister and brother for letting us have so many people invade their home for a night. There's no way they'd fit in ours. LOL!

Our Growing Family Picture

I was just looking through all our pictures and noticed how much our family has been growing in the last couple years. We still have our sweet pets, but family pictures with everyone are quite difficult to take.

Max was in my belly for this one.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Hatch Family Cookie Caroling Night

We had a smaller than normal group this year. We missed everyone, but still had a great time. We even had awesome weather for it. Max was in the mood to join us, but he only listened as we sang. Maggie hung out with Grandma, Grandpa & Aunt Shaun. They've discovered that she likes to cry herself to sleep. It usually helps to have a swing to lull her to sleep quicker, but I forgot to bring it. Oops!

Anyway, back to caroling. We were able to visit 3 of my favorite families this year. If you weren't one of them... don't get offended. LOL! Everyone in our group was in a great Christmas mood. What a way to head into this Christmas weekend. I love my family!!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Missouri Trip

I recently had the opportunity to take a trip to Missouri with my kids to see my older sister Jennie. I couldn't have gone without the help of one of my other older sisters Jonnie and her sweet son. What a sweet thing to do. Max, Maggie, Jonnie, Jon and I. It was my Wesley's Christmas present to me. It had been about 7 1/2 yrs since I'd visited her. Far too long! I get to visit with her when she visits, but it's just not the same. This visit reminded me of growing up with her before we all hit our teen years. Jennie was so fun to play with. Always joking or making up a fun game. That by the way is how our trip went. Nice, fun and relaxing. I loved watching our kids together. I feel rejuvenated and happy. Here are some of the pictures I got.

Max & Maggie getting ready for the day and being darn cute!

Thrift store shopping was a little boring for Max. Jen didn't mind though. So sweet!

Kennedy was great with Max. They were like this for a while.

There's my pretty girl with my beautiful sister.

Jon relaxing with Dalila.

Talking and eating candy with Jen. LOL!

We were totally pigging out. So yummy!

Thanks for letting us visit for so long. We really had a great time! I love you Jen!!!
