Computer & Camera Problems

I've been away from blogging for about a week now because our computer & camera have been having problems. I'm happy to say that these problems have been resolved for now. Such fun! It helped me realized how much time I spend on the computer. I might spend too much time on here, but I don't regret blogging or keeping in touch with family & friends. I just love being able to share pictures and all that. My camera isn't completely fixed I have to confess. The flash is broken, so the pictures aren't going to be as great till I have it fixed. I am very relieved to be able to take pictures!

Anyhoo... I wanted to share this cute picture I snuck tonight while Wesley was multitasking. He's such a wonderful Dad! They're looking at old trucks on Craigslist while Wes feeds Max his dinner. Awesome!

Thank You!!!

We've been given so many cool presents for Max since we started trying to get pregnant. We're truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and family in our lives. Max has been loving his pack-n-play & jumperoo the past couple weeks. I had to share these pic's & thank my sisters again. All my sisters gave me the pack-n-play and my sister Betty gave me the jumperoo. He loves them so much that Grandma decided to get a set for her house. In the first picture you'll see a bunch of links for the toys to hang from. Max loves these more than his toys I believe because of the noise and I have Katie Garrison to thank for them. Very awesome gifts!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Playing Catch Up

I've been having computer problems for the last few days, so it's time for a little catch up...

This sweet picture if from Friday. My Mom and a few of my sisters all went shopping together up in Washington. Max was the man of the group. We had a lot of fun hanging out. He was so happy when we got back to grandmas house. He decided to dirty up this outfit and we didn't mind letting him just wear his diaper. Such a cutie!

I have to share this picture with you. Max loves his aunt Betty. We call her the baby whisperer. When baby won't go to sleep, you bring in the baby whisperer.

Had to throw this one in. He just woke up from his nap.

Jaz playing with Max at our family BBQ. She's such a good cousin. I love to watch her with my boy. She's growing up so fast!

The twins before church. Max already looks so much like his Dad. I just love dressing them the same... That's right. I dress my husband. He thinks it's just easier that way.

Sam and I before church. She's so cute!!!

We had a wonderful weekend together as a family. I can't wait for next weekend!

Beautiful Walk on a Beautiful Day

Max and I missed our walk yesterday and I was determined to get our walk in today. First, I feel I need to explain the quality of the pictures below. I brought our camera so I could take pictures that captured the beauty of the day, however I realized when trying to take the first picture that I'd forgotten the memory card at home. Dumb, dumb, dumb! Thank goodness for camera phones. At least I was able to take some pictures. Anyhoo...

We headed downtown to watch the boats and stuff. As you can see in this picture Max is fast asleep, but I was enjoying the view. His favorite part right now is the movement and the breeze I think.
This is on the other side of the Hawthorne bridge before heading back to OMSI where we parked.
Wide awake now. CUTE!!!
My sister Cori sent a text while we were on our walk to invite us to her daughter Sienna's soccer game, David Douglas vs. Franklin. This is Troy, Lauryn, Chloe, Cori and you can't see her, but Hailey is there too. We had a nice view up on the hill. I have another niece Martha who's also on the team. Both of them did awesome and of course won. Yeah, that's right! They kicked they're butts. Just kidding. Franklin did awesome too, it's just that David Douglas kept scoring goals. =)
I had a wonderful day today. I might have over done the distance. I need to work up to this kind of walk. By the time I got home, I had no more energy to play with my sweet boy. Can't have that! We'll see what adventures Max and I'll have tomorrow.

Teething baby and husband that must work all the time.

I only have a second or two, but I'm determined to post something before Max starts screaming again. Ok. He doesn't scream all the time, but he does a lot of the time! He has his first tooth just about to break through. Needless to say, he's not a happy guy. At the moments his tummy is full, he just got up from a long nap, so I guess this is as good a mood as he'll be in. Wesley is always working and I keep saying that I'm thankful for it, especially these days. But it's ok for me to miss him! Max is starting to prefer me and I guess that's normal, but I'd love for him to smile at his papa when he comes home exhausted. I'm probably asking too much of a four month old teething baby, but there you go. It'll get better and in the meantime I feel very blessed. Now I'm going to head off and enjoy the happy baby boy of mine.

Getting started...

I've been a little hesitant to blog because I'm not much of a writer. I love to read all my friends and family's though. What a cool way to keep in touch.

I feel really blessed that I'm able to be a stay-at-home mom for now. I was laid off recently. I'm still adjusting to being a first time mommy and being unemployed after years and years of full time jobs. Being a mommy is the most full time job I've ever had of course and by far the best! I get so tired all the time and then stare at Max in amazement that Wesley and I were able to create someone so perfect. It's unbelievable! Heavenly Father truly loves each and every one of us.

I hope to post more soon along with pictures. It's way past my bedtime and I need to get some rest so I'll be able to keep up with this little cutie.
